DYE SUBLIMATION
Dye sublimation is a relatively new process
that prints a digital image onto paper with special
heat-activated inks. The image is then transferred to
the final product with heat-transfer equipment. When
heat is applied to the printed sheet, the ink sublimates
(absorbs) into the surface of the final product. The
inks dye the product, instead of affixing to it. They
become a part of the product and do not alter the feel
or texture. Dye-sublimated products are extremely durable
and easy to clean.
Our experts are always available for consultation on
applying this process to your needs.
Some of the applications of dye sublimation include
fabrics and textiles, glass, tiles, art reproduction,
showroom signage, pop-up displays, hanging banners,
and much more.
